Hello! I'm Brandon

Long story short I am thirty-seven, originally from Texas, went to school in Austin, moved to Houston for work and then San Diego for the weather. I have been living in San Diego for the last nine years and love the amazing weather and active lifestyle southern California has to offer. If I am not attending business events or volunteering you will find me outside playing beach volleyball, surfing, boating, hiking, biking, or pretty much any other outdoor activity.

So why did I become a engineer instead of a lifeguard? I have always had this unwavering fascination with how things work and operate. I continuously look for ways to improve everything from the design of a simple coat hanger, employee training tools, to bigger picture concepts like business operations. Luckily I discovered a profession where I can continuously focus my attention on engineering, equipment design, and business improvements. I have been in the engineering world for thirteen years and anticipate many more to come.

SKILLS
EXPERTISE
Product Development
During my career I have developed multiple pieces of equipment from conception to validation. The engineering tasks involved such as calculations, machining processes, assembly procedures, test reports, and validation have given me a wealth of experience for product development.
Project Execution
All of my engineering positions have been directly linked with customer equipment sales. Therefore, project execution has always been a top priority of mine, and I constantly prioritize in order to complete key tasks and have customer equipment delivered early or on time.
Process Improvement
I have worked on multiple Six Sigma teams to completely map business tasks in order to discover process gaps or inefficiency. My experience with process improvement involves developing process maps, training programs, training documents, and refining overall engineering processes.Â
